One thing I miss off of XBLA...

Trial versions of ALL XBLA titles.

There are a few titles on PSN which I'd like to try before I buy but with no trial versions I'm hesitant to buy them and I'm highly skeptical of reviews.

All games on PSN that have had trial versions which I liked, I have bought and there are many XBLX games I bought after having a little sample of the games.

Is anyone else a bit pissed at the lack of trial versions of (all) PSN titles?

I was/am interested in “Calling all Cars” on PSN, but I just can’t purchase without playing a demo. I haven’t checked in awhile, have they finally released one?

Not pissed but I'd like the demo's for sure. I used to have tons of demo's on my Live account's that I'd mess around with. Plus some demo's sold me on games as well, other times it has save me money from doing blind buys.

They are getting better about having demos, but I agree. Mandatory demos would be a good thing for PSN games, but that would be Sony telling their devs what to do. What's also lame is that sometimes the demos come AFTER the full version has been put up.

Or before the full version is put up as is the case with "The Last Guy" (in the US). It's good and bad. Good you get it early, bad that you can't buy it.

That is another good point by both Dusto and AnimalMother.

Demos after the games full release are shit, but demos before (like the last guy) where you can't upgrade to the full version are equally shit.

Off topic, I downloaded the last guy from my us psncaccount and I like what I played. How long will it take to get to europe is anyones guess...

I'm not happy about Wip3out not working on my PS3 whilst were on the subject of wipeout....

tried out the demo. and it sucks. it does not have that nostalgia feel. I remember playing wipeout on the psx and thinking how awesome the graphics were. and the beats are awesome

I have Wipeout 1 from PSN and I have Wipeout 2097 for Mac OSX but Wipeout 3 freezes shortly after starting a race. I've retried it after every firmware update so far but it still wont work.

I'll have to grab 2097 from eBay whilst I think about it.

I loved it too. It reminded me a bit of Pacman. On the other hand I didn't like PJ Eden at all and got a meh feeling from Bionic Commando Rearmed.
Oh, and I'm completely pumped about GTI Club at least from the looks of this trailer.
