Nothing ground breaking but it's an expected score... oddly he doesn't say anything negative in the video review.

Only thing is the visuals aren't ZOMG amazing. RPG have it rough these days. Good to see one come in strong!

I was never a huge tales guy until Symphonia on the gamecube which rocked.

But looks like the summer/fall RPG battle begins!

I've never liked the Tales games... and TV (hee... heeheehee) ain't swaying me.

If what I've heard about IU is true as well... I'm not even bothering, then again... I should've expected it, after all it's from Tri-Ace... and with the exception of Star Ocean... Tri-Ace games suck. Maybe Last Remnant will be better...

Reviews seems like a definite buy to me. Like LO, I am not expecting some revolution in RPG genre but it should be a damn fun experience consdiering the track record for the series. I agree on your point how RPGs have it rough i nthe visuals department. When games span 40-100 hours of single player gameplay it's gotta be hard to focus on graphics with so much stuff packed in. Between this, IU, last remnant, shaun white snowboarding, and left 4 dead my PS3 isn't getting any love this fall it seems.

This is exactly the sort of game I would buy if it was on my Wii or Ps3, being it's on 360 I just won't bother with it.

Terrible move for any company to be making exclusives at this point. There is no way I am buying a third system to take up space in my house for a so so RPG. Wake up and smell the coffee Namco, multiplatform FTW!

I don't mind this not being a PS3 game, never like any of the previous tales game.

Tales of Symphonia was my first in the series and it really turned me on to it. I'll be buying Tales of Vesperia next week and for all of those people saying "if this was for the Wii or PS3 I'd buy it" Tales of Symphonia II is coming out in November for the Wii. So keep your eyes open for that if this type of game interests you.

Aside from Tales of Symphonia all of the Tales games are so-so. It was actually the first in the series that I really enjoyed. They are what I like to call "filler" games. I play those while I wait for the latest incarnation of SMT or FF.

Speaking of which, Disgaea 3 in less then 4 days!

Yeah, just like Eternal Sonata. Namco Bandai would be more than happy to get this in the hands of the 2.5M PS3 owners in Japan.
