Graphics Smackdown: Star Wars TFU!!

Now that the demo of Star Wars has been released, lets begin a rowdy forum brawl over which version is superior!! This is open to debate by anyone that has both versions downloaded on each console, and has an identical video cable (hdmi, or hdmi dvi). Let it begin! Is Lucasarts most high profile game of the year bitched in comparison to the competeing consoles version? We will find out soon! Lets take off our gloves gentlemen, the fight is about to get really dirty!

I'll have to download the PS3 version.

However, I'm not that impressed with the game visually to begin with. It doesn't seem like something that is going to start mad debates, because honestly the demo doesn't show that much.

I think this is going to have to wait till the game is actually released, and more is seen.

P.S. The gameplay isn't as bad ass as Jedi Outcast. I'll stop from continuing, as I'll get more off topic.

Demos are usually made separately, and from an earlier build.

The demo represents final gameplay mechanics...but it doesn't necessarily represent final code.

Yup. Just today I got Devil May Cry 4 for the 360 and was suprised how much better the final version was than the demo I played awhile ago. Sure this is one example but because demos are demonstrations I tend to believe there is more work to be done on the final game before release.

It seems ok, not as great as the hype suggested though. I don't find the graphics to be detailed enough, and alot of interior and items in the scenerey are fairly repetitive. Also noticed at least on the 360 version that the animation has moments where it is very terrible and unnatural. However the physics engine is impressive at times. Oddly that constant image that we were shown of storm troopers latch onto their buddies for support, seems to no longer be featured in the game. Lame.

There really is nothing to smackdown. It's a dual platform game that is identical to each other. Next.
