I mean... well, if you are a little kid, that could be fun.

Nintendogs did great business for Nintendo.

Let's get the Microsoft fan spin on a way to make everything Sony comes out with seem lame.

what's the problem?

casual gamers are dominating the landscape, have to appeal to them in any way possible.

I suppose it's hard to understand, what with you owning the first person shooter console. There is a huge untapped casual gamer market that Nintendo have been mlking nicely. The PS3 can appeal to the hardcode game, the movie watcher AND the casual gamer.

How can that be a bad thing? Just because it's lame to you (and I) at least I can see that it's not lame to everyone.

This would be really cool if they were doing some sort of edge detection with the eye... So rather than using a controller to play with your pets you might do it by actually "petting them" on screen... It'd take some getting used to, but it'd be an interesting tech display.

"Lets get the Sony fan spin on how this isn't lame"

Lets hear your spin on how it IS lame. Be sure to include lots of details about the game that you are obviously in possession of and used to make your assessment.

Call me old fashioned but I will wait until I play it before making my decision on its lameness.

Nintendogs is one of the biggest hits in video games ever.

Obviously it's stupid, but this is where the market appears to be headed if the Wii and DS are any indication

PS Eye is a really cool gadget and I'll probably buy any PSN game that utilizes it because I appreciate technology.

The little virtual monkey is absolutely adorable. I'd definitely buy that game and I'm not being sarcastic. I have FPS, fighting, and adventure games... I want cute games.

If Microsoft came up with this one of our esteemed members would have started a thread touting "innovation".

My daughter will absolutely love this.
I have always thought that the eye toy and then on PS3 the PS3eye were great ideas and required more resources. Nike Motionworks was a standout title for PS2 I thought, and I really like the idea of interactivity of this sort.

Doesn't seem stupid to me - unless it cost more than 20.00 (sweet spot would be 5.00 and I wouldn't pay more than 10.00 - but I'm cheap!)

I noticed the prozac pill next to the wagon but why isn't this monkey smoking?

I am seriously confused.
