Lost Odyssey for me didn't get irritating load wise until the 4th disc, it gets noticably worse for whatever reason.

FUck lost odyssey for now, wait for the install option. Get Tales of Vespara in the mean time after the cut.

Yes.

Last fscl year, MS's IEB reported a 1 billion dollar write off for 360 repairs.
Last fscl year IN SPITE OF THE WRITE OFF, MS's IEB was profitable.

Xbox 360 is making moeny for MS.

PS3 is losing money for Sony. So much so, that we've got industry folk making comments like this:

"Sony has no chance of making money on the PS3"

Doesn't MS gross $10 per game sold as royalty? At a roughly 8 game attach rate, wouldn't that alone have made them profitable?

20 Million Consoles x 8 games x $10 royalty. Of course this is gross. A lot of money must have been spent securing exclusives etc...

But then again, they must make a profit from it's film service, Xbox Live Gold membership, Arcade game sales, DLC sales etc...

I find it hard to believe MS 360 isn't profitable.
