$50 less than a new xbox 360?

So it's $200 for a new xbox but the hard drive will cost you extra. Whats the cheapest HDD available for it then?

Depends on whether you want to pay full MSRP or do some value shopping... Value shopping I've seen the 120 go for $99.

Sweet. With a 199 price for arcade the 360 will bring in some good numbers this fall

Looks like Amazon isn't offering the 20 GB any longer, and one of their partners is offering it for $259 (Link). I wonder what other retailers will do with any remaining 20 GB units.

they'll prolly clearance em out. Still I'd go to sites like cheapassgamer and find refurb or used 20gb HDD's for only $40. It's pretty easy and I'm sure that's cheaper then what stores will clearance em out at

I don't know if it's already been said but you can essentially get an "Elite" for $50 cheaper with this new pricing structure. Arcade $199 + 120bg HD $150 = $349, $50 less than the elite. Plus you get 5 arcade games and a $50 memory card.

That's if you pay full retail, you can get an "elite" even cheaper if you shop around. So basically you're paying the extra $50 for the black case.

And that's assuming you need 120gb. When they release the 60gb by itself, it's supposed to come w/ like 3 months of LIVE service, along w/ a headset and some other bonuses at $99. So you can get a lil bit better then the Pro system by getting that along w/ an Arcade model for the pre-packaged Pro price
