    All their updates take forveer to come in, not sure if its cause of my wireless or what not but everytime I hear of a new update it means I cant play for days

    My ps3 was bricked. Firstly it just wouldnt play mgs4 and some of my games.
    When i downloaded 2.41 it only made it worse, and then all my games froze!

    V. Happy now (as happy as you can be when you realised you didn't back up your gamesaves) because i took it straight back to where i brought it and bypassed sony, they gave me a direct swap for a new machine! Well happy.

    Question is now, is it safe to download 2.41 on my new console????? Or should i just wait and stay offline for a while

    Mine updated fine to 2.41 (straight from 2.36). There's always a chance that something could go wrong during the update but presumably they fixed it.
