360 Selling on Par with the ps3 in japan say what?
I know, its VG. But even VG can't be way way off can they?
Um if this becomes the norm, 'oh shit' sony.
Ace Combat was also #2 for the week in software.

well who would of ever pictured that?
now it may not last (of course not)...
But it does illustrate how important exclusive titles can be. especially Ace Combat getting sucked away from Sony.
Woah, Even Xbox 360 Hardware beat the PS3 (17K to 16K)...

I figured Ace Combat would give a good boost but not that much.
Are the Japanese sales numbers posted on Kotaku each week going to be affected by the Neilson change? Hopefully that is just for US numbers I think.

There's a good 3-5k error of margin sometimes between VG Chartz and the Media Create numbers. Also, this probably won't be the norm with DW6 looming (bundled with PS3), but not for 360. There's no sustaining lineup for the 360 to maintain this all and the 40 gig is out next week to boot

VGChartz, to echo RRD, please don't make posts based on their data. It's worthless. If you look at the Media Create numbers for the 360 on Kotaku from week to week, they're not even close to the PS3 numbers. The nerd is a tirelessly predictable creature whom the promise of boobies is like a bacon sandwich to a starving wolf. - Yahtzee
