EGMs 1UP.com gives PS3 COD4 9.4, 360 Gets 9.1

EGMs website, 1UP.com, has rated the PS3 version of Call of Duty at 9.4

EDIT: YES, both games get a 9.5 Editorial review and the only reason the PS3 gets a 9.4 overall and the 360 gets a 9.1 is because the PS3 users gave it a 9.2 while the 360 users gave it a 8.8

The link was not working to the review page itself when I saw the overall reviews.

Edit: YES - I see the Editor's rating is the same - I stand corrected, but the link to the actual review page wasn't working when I first saw the overall review.

Are you looking at the averaged score? Because you do realize that's just the combined user average vote and the 1up review.

When it comes to credible reviews, you can't get much more objective than those of the #1 selling videogame magazine and it's honest review crew.

Actually, the site gives them both 9.5's. The 9.4 and 9.1 are averages that include the websites review and reader reviews.

Gamepro and Gamedaily gave 360 version 10/10 and 5/5.

I do think Call of Duty will finally give PS3 it's first USA million selling game.

We know it will sell big time on 360.

Because, they average in the user rating with the editor's rating. The editor's rating is 9.5 for both.

I wouldn't expect most reviewers to let you know the graphics are better on the PS3 if they are better. There is too much hate out there for multi-platform PS3 version games to be judged fairly. Even if it's better, they will most likely say it is both versions are the same (unless the 360 version is the better one).

I think it will be awhile before a lot of reviewers will allow most PS3 games to be judged fairly.

Except there is no difference in this instance. I've been chiming in on people who actually bought both, or compared with others, and the differences are not noticeable other than Rumble and Achievements, in which Dual Shock 3 is out in March sadly, and there could be trophies for PS Home.
