But on the topic of SMG graphics i think they look fine, give me excellent gameplay and i'm in. I really don't care about graphics if the game sucks. Gameplay first. I hope KillZone devs remember this. The game looks excellent, hopefully it brings the gameplay.

My thing about the original KillZone was how shitty the framerate was. I can suck it up and play through a mediocre game (and gameplay-wise, thats what it was) but when the framerate chugs, that turns me off completely.

If someone can tell me how long the original KillZone is, I'll play through it if it's short.

Read the review here. I was thinking about the $400 PS3 as my 07 gaming purchase, but Mario Galaxy has me thinking tis time I bought a Wii.

The graphics look just like a high end (original) Xbox title, but with the added benefit of excellent artistry (if you like big bold cartoony graphics, that is). Saying it's on a par with PS3/360 games in technical terms is pushing it, but it can be argued that it 'looks as good' as anything on those consoles. I'll take Bumblebee Mario and his galaxy over Halo 3 any day.

And with all due respect, Ill take the Zelda TP port, the RE4 port, MP3 corruption and Mario Galaxy ANYDAY over what the PS3 is offering.

I purposely have waited this long to get a Wii to make sure I have some AAA games to play...and yes, Mario Galaxy looks to be just that with MP coming in right behind...

Honestly I think SMG is the best looking Wii game to date. IGN thinks it looks almost on par with a 360/PS3 game.

On par with 360/PS3 graphics? IGN is a joke. I mean yeah, SMG will surely kick ass but I dont think they need to make comments like that to hype their opinion of the game.

Anyway, I think the game has a great look to it from videos I have seen. I am excited to play what seems to be Super Mario Bros 3 in 3D. My fav Mario Bros game Now I see this game as being a awesome but no revolutionary. Anyone saying so needs to really tell how pointing to get items with the wii-mote is ground breaking. Anyway, can't wait to play!

I still get jacked for Zelda and Mario. I've never been huge on Metriod since it left 2d.

Oddly enough I liked Wind Waker more than twighlight princess.

Finally the Wii is back on Life Support......I seriously thought about placing it in my display cab (I put all my old machines in a case) but I guess its still early to say...great to hear Galaxy put out the goods.

I went to Wal-Mart today and bought Guitar Hero 3 and played Mario Galaxy again. I for the life of me can't understand how they said the graphics were as good as PS3 or Xbox 360, it's just a color mess of pixels. It's like playing Mario Sunshine without the water backpack. Picked my little sister up from school and she adores it, so I guess I will be buying it after all. Mario is kickass though, but damn that voice is getting old, I wish they would get a different voice actor. Everytime I hear him say ''It's a meee a Mario'' I want to say ''Fuck you Mario''

I just got Guitar hero 3 for the Wii...after lunch Im going to tear it up and hope my guitar works.
