I figured it would happen. I also heard the interactivity means the PS3 will now spew out a hammer and destroy HD DVD players...hehe

The update allows the PS3 to emmit a small E.M.P if it detects a nearby Xbox 360.

is this another HDD article with blu-ray.com as a source? if it happenes, i'd be shocked and happy at the same time.

... i have a feeling that this thread will have a bunch of people searching photobucket for their favorite hand or hand raising pics

I hope it includes a zoom feature for those pesky non-anamorphic DVDs and the ability to remember where you were on the disc if you turn off the system while watching a movie so it resumes at the same spot.
I think there was one other nitpick I wanted, but I can't remember.

What are you talking about. Blu-ray com? It clearly says the source is the trade publication video buisness. They are probably commenting on this story over there but the source is the trade publication. Why would you be suprised the ps 3 could handle pip, it is basically a super computer in a box.

Let's go DTS MA and TRUE HD bitstream. That's what I want the most.

Default Hmmm...

Could it be, DTS-HD Master Audio, finally? We shal see. I wouldn't be suprised though if it were just an update to increase load speeds with certain BD+ titles. Ive been waiting for DTS-HD MA for far to long now. I look forward to finding out whats in the update.
