Rumor: New PS3 1.92 Firmwire fixes Lair controls
I'm reading on the PS3 Forums that the new update has increased the SIXAXIS controller's sensitivity - and Lair is much easier to play.
Keep in mind that this is still a rumor, but this may prove interesting with the slew of mediocre reviews the game is getting.
I'm probably never going to buy Lair, but I may consider renting it now.60GB Playstation 3

actually, that would be purely a matter of opinion. Many people just read reviews and assume that is the gospel. Others take it home for themselves and love it. And other reviews have loved it.
So who is to say who is right without you taking home your own copy and giving it a try and im going to assume you dont own the game but have heard this else where and want to use it as a point to bash Sony and or the PS3."PeAcE is but a shadow of death, desperate to forget its painful past"

It's more of a general opinion amongst most of the reviews and I'm not going to spend $1300NZ to see if they were wrong. It tends to be the die-hard fanboys who say the controls are good and not as bad as the reviews suggest. If they included the option to have no motion sensing in the menu controls they may have scored some more points and less flack.
How come more people aren't complaining when the PlayStation 3 owners take the higher scoring game reviews as "gospel"? Maybe because the reviews are generally right. -

shame it's too late and won't affect any of the horrible reviews.
then again, IGN has changed scores in the past -

Uhh well i'm not sure how the PSN is handling updates on games.... but this sounds like fanboy BS to me. Think about it, why the HELL would you roll out a change for one game in a firmware update?
This sounds more like a wishful rumor than it would be anything that holds salt.
Firmware update? err can they not roll it out when you start the game like XBL does? I don't get it. But I see one game getting updated in a firmware release very very slim. If so just shows you how far behind PSN's integration is. If they were to update Lair i'd think it'd work just like XBL, you boot the game and get prompted for the update, if you don't update it you can't do anything online or with rankings.
