I am finally about to use my PS3 for something other than Blu-Ray!

I just got Lair and my son is going to be playing for, hopefully, hours.

The question is: is this enough to make the PS3 a decent game system? I only have about 4 games on it because they all get worse ratings than they do on the Xbox 360.

Will Lair pull the PS3 out of the cesspool?

It has gotten some mixed reviews apparently. I got Heavenly Sword today and it looks penomenal and plays pretty good as well, tough though. I didn't know that Andy Serkis worked on it, directed some of the mo cap work and acted in it as well.

I had it pre-ordered at Game Stop... they sell them early.

I got Blue Dragon for the xbox 360 yesterday... I don't think it is technically out yet either. EDIT: apparently it actually is out.

Their website isn't showing it as a preorder any more. Lucky you, eh? In-store availability shows 0 for all the shops near me.

They had an entire case of them at the store near me... in McKinney (North Dallas), Texas.

I just called and they said they have them in. I guess the release date isn't a strict street date? Picking it up today!

From reviews, looks like "no".... But Warhawk seems to have a bit of a buzz, and HS is coming soon.

Could be you picked the wrong game.

It is safe to say Lair will be a safe buy for the kids this coming holiday season.

Flying a dragon around will be a dream come true.
