Oh man, complex 1080p vs. rich presence. Those were the days.

Another favorite of mine was some guy bashing Littlebigplanet for not having an interesting story like .... Mario.

No. I bashed LBP for having a lackluster SP. No point for or motive for the player to play. Regardless of how thin Mario is, there's a reason you go on your adventure.

LBP isn't a very good platformer. I stand by that statement completely. It's a solid package because it offer more than a platformer. But if thats all your interested in, you be better off with a stronger SP focused platformer. Mario and Rayman being the best platformers this generation.

This conversation still happened when people thought I was an Xbot. I just happened to be more vocal towards PS3 games at the time because that's where the conversations were focused. Now people understand I'm just incredibly picky.

Not you, I think it was crazzeto or some nickname like that who was playing Mario for the "story". No need to be so irritable.

Besides, I wasn't the biggest fan of LBP either. I respect what it did but it was not for me. There's no question that in terms of core platforming gameplay it doesn't hold a candle to Mario.
