Although Iron Man wasn't really in the public eye and they built that into a pretty good brand. Movie-wise, at least.
    Yeah....that ain't happening (movie-wise at least)

For Sony, they have to make a movie every 5 years otherwise they lose the rights to make Spider-Man movies back to Marvel. For WB, Batman is the only successful comic book franchise they got right now in film.

Fortunately, I can hardly get enough of Batman. Except after the Schumacher films.

Also he made Phone Booth which to me is one of the most underrated films.

I'm sure he is a nice guy. I mean, his commentary on B&R seems to indicate he's aware of what he did and has a good attitude about it.

I do really enjoy Phone Booth come to think of it. Kiefer Sutherland was so awesome as a vocal-only presence.

Well expect more Batman. Another Arkham game is rumored (as a prequel no less with JLA in it) and I give the next Batman 2, possible 3 years, for the next reboot. I just hope they skip over an origin story. Or just give it 15-20 min of screen time. Same goes for the next Superman. I hope they just gloss over his origin. Who the hell doesn't know these by now.

Dude also directed Lost Boys and Tigerland which I love. Falling Down wasn't bad. He does some decent movies, just not Bat nipple related.

Not to nitpick, but it wasn't vocal only. He shows up for like 2 min at the end.

Kiefer always plays awesome bad guys for Shumacher. Evil vampire in Lost Boys, Evil clansman in Time to Kill and Evil sniper in Phonebooth.

I know he was in it at the end, but really, its for like 30 seconds in blurred vision, so it was just easier to say it was vocal only.

Anywho....PS3 is pretty much at 195k for June. With rumors of another PS3 slim (August? September?), could MS' deathgrip at #1 soon be in jeopardy? Though I'm sure MS would counterattack anyway

Another slim huh. Well if it gets another price drop I might have to upgrade. I do need a new blu ray player for our other television.

Whoa, wait.. really? That was him? I had no clue, really good movie.

I'm fine with Schumacher at this point. When he outright apologized on the Batman dvd set and hearing what he was dealing with from the studio any beef between us was dropped.

He comes over every Christmas now. It's lovely.

One thing they do now, I noticed, is they have these platform wars, like "Xbox is better than Playstation." That's nerdy to me. What the fuck is the matter with you?

I actually liked Batman Forever when it came out. And the Method Man song that was on the soundtrack. Of course, B&R is obviously an abomination.
