Pretty lackluster month for new titles so it's not surprising. May will be huge though with Diablo 3 and Max Payne 3.

I think it was the #1 SKU (Prototype 2 is 360 & PS3 combined). Hard to say the #1 game tanked really.. but considering the entire industry basically tanked, even core controller based games, I’m not sure that sent any kind of message.

No it's pretty easy to do so, it sold horribly. Especially for a star wars game.

but considering the entire industry basically tanked, even core controller based games, I’m not sure that sent any kind of message.

You might have a point here, in that any sort of message might be obscured if no one else sold anything. But the counterpoint is that people viewed this as a month when nothing entice came out; there was nothing driving sales. That's a problem for you if that's the sentiment, yet your game just released. It's also true that the gen is extended and coming to an end, so sales will suffer some there.


We can conjure up a lot of excuses and explanation, but star wars kinect sold awfully - and that should certainly get their attention. Hopefully they'll raise the software bar off the floor.

I don’t know, the whole industry was down big-time. For a game that was delayed, previewed harshly and eventually reviewed harshly, taking to top spot is a bit surprising actually. But don’t get me wrong, I’m sure MS sees it as a sales disappointment and I get your point, deservedly so.

I respect people's personal preference and tastes. But this time I will give it a pass and throw it all out:
Kinect Star Wars eliminated my hope about the future of humanity. Despite our great achievements in technology, our intelligence is taking the opposite turn! Yes. This is how I view this oversimplified abomination of a game that sold probably due to marketing than its actual fan factor and quality,
In the future our grandchildren will be able to control everything in their household by connecting their minds to their own personal Cerebro just like Professor X, but wont be able to calculate without the help of a calculator very simple math such as 1424 x 3621 .....oh wait! It has already begun!!
