The reason Prototype 2 was made is that Prototype was a big unexpected hit and outsold, for example, inFamous, as I recall.

Yep. Didn't it do a couple million units?
I think Activision laid off a bunch of people at Radical after the first one shipped didn't they? Makes me wonder if that studio will be closed and the remaining staff laid off as well. Activision sure is fond of firing people and I don't think Prototype 2 will do anywhere near the business the first one did... That or they become a COD maps studio? -

That's very interesting. My recollection is poor - I always remembered prototype as kind of the poor-man's inFamous. Infamous came out while the console war was still raging and I remember some people tried to "negate" inFamous by frequently asserting prototype, but then prototype was a bit of a let down

The fact that Star Wars Kinect is so high up on this list makes me want that Mayan apocalypse stuff to come true. Humanity has become too dumb for its own good!
Great quotes on the internet:
I hear Galaxy is brilliant, and it probably is. Just can't picture myself sitting down and playing it. That would take time away from watching the Disney Channel and working on my coloring book.Ryan Payton (MGS4 Associate Producer) -

Yeah it is. Second month out in the US and its nowhere to be found. They are going to lower the price and sell more, but make no money. Then a new iPhone and a new iPad will be out next year with probably better graphics then it will just be over. Hey, I've been saying it for a while.

Looks like Sony has hit an iceberg....
Shares of Sony stock have dipped to their lowest number in 31 years in Japan and to a 19-year low in the US, following a dismal earnings report for the previous fiscal year. Sony shares dropped 7 percent in Japan, to 1,135 Yen ($14), and 2 percent in the US, closing at $15.37.
Sony CEO Kaz Hirai plans to lose 10,000 employees in a company-wide reorganization effort. Sony reported a net revenue loss of 9.6 percent for fiscal year 2012, dropping from $89 billion to $79.1 billion year-over-year. -
