I have two, one is a fat and one is slim. The fat is my main PS3, travels with me, and was a 40gb originally until I upgraded it to 320. It's a trooper.

I don't know whether they all still do it, I'd assume so - I think you just hold down a couple buttons for like 10 seconds.
