If they spend significant time on nonsense like kinect, that's likely to happen for the foreseeable future
As is catering to the core, devoting time to similar such games, and not selling out to the soccer moms. Spending 90 min on kinect is a great way to come in dead last without surprising anyone with those resultsCurrently Playing: Uncharted 3, Zelda: Skyward Sword

Depends on how you define that Move section of the conference. I mean, technically, the stuff was for core titles excluding Medieval Moves, but come on....that part dragged on for way too long. And very little if at all was actually impressive.
And Kobe totally disproved the developer's words who said "ANYONE can play with these controls!"
It was just...so uneventful until the Vita price point. The Uncharted 3 stuff was cool, yes, but other than that, mostly boring aside from a handful of Vita related things. And heavy breathing.Don't Reach, Young Blood

"Astounding"? I'm thinking living among so many SDF has clouded your perspective a little, where no one can express an opinion without being an "astounding" fanboy.
Was Sony's conference good? No, as everyone said. Was it decent? Yes. Was it better than MS's? Yes... less focus on Oprah shit. The only question is was it better than Nintendo's. In terms of game content -- obviously yes. In terms of hardware -- Wii U didn't seem too impressive.
So yeah, it's reasonable to think that Sony won, if only by default.Receiver: Denon 3808CI / Remote: Logitech Harmony 1

I am actually thinking about getting that 3d tv this fall. I would have to sit at a desk though wich would suck. I guess it wouldnt be too bad as I am sure I would not want to game in 3d for more than an hour or so at a time.

Gotcha, there is no legitimate way to argue that Sony could have "won" E3. Has to be fanboys. >_>
I'm not saying they "won".... To be honest, it's seriously dependent on the metric used for me because I happen to be pretty excited of the Wii-U, if only for the potential I see in it. I see little substance right now, but I definitely see the possible applications it could have for a number of different genres.+32in Sanyo Vizon

Nah, I'm not saying that at all. It's just funny that many of the people who voted Sony are Sony hardcore fans. While I would count you as a sony fan, I think you would be amongst the more reasonable as far as voting and probably do feel that Sony won, which is totally fine. It's the others who all it takes is for the Sony logo to flash to vote WON!!!!!!

I think Sony did the best job on focusing on the games, yes. I will explain it point by point if you wish. However, again, I cannot help but give Nintendo mondo props by making me actually want a hardware platform from them. No, I cannot point to any specific games I want. However, it will not be hard for them, given what seems to be their intent to make a return push for my attention to push me over the edge. It doesn't even have to be first party, either. I can see potential in the platform even though the substance has yet to be revealed (an issue we should expect to be handily remedied this time next year).
I have reservations about E3 this year, but the word that sticks out for me is "potential". Both Vita and Wii-U strike me as platforms with potential and I am extremely interested to see where they go. I am interested to see Vita really take off as a connected device that links home gaming and portable gaming and I am interested to see Nintendo make good on their push for the core gamer. Time will tell if they pan out, but I'm optimistic.+32in Sanyo Vizon
