Usually I would agree, but i've given up on achievements. Lost the addiction, shame tbh.

Regardless, this is the first game i've been excited about in a long long time.

Very few did I think it made a difference. On most I actually preferred the look of the 360, dunno why.

I like this whole 'I cant tell the difference anyway' approach.

some of us have been using that for years!

Well the difference is there with the shadows and SSAO, and the 360 is a smidge bit blurrier, but I agree that these are small differences. The bigger difference is 1 robust disc vs 3 easily scratched discs.

I agree there is a small difference with the shadows but I don't think I'll be staring at them much anyway. If anything, the ps3 version seems too dark to me. That could just be how they have their settings for the comparison though.

Plus a mandatory install on the PS3 version.. and questionable DLC support later on (depending on the status of the PSN store). :-)

three easily scratched discs is pretty funny, after you install it to your system you can scratch it all to shit and it won't matter

I've had DVD close to 12 years now. I had not one disc become unplayable because of how I handled it. Disc rot is another issue but that is a problem for BD as well. Scratching disc is a problem for children...and that's it. I don't think anyone on these forums are "mishandling" their disc.

Aww damn it, I got the inferior version. Too bad, the shadows on the crates would of made all the difference.

Don't you still have to put the disc in for an initial read, and keep it in the whole time?

If not, shit..I'd be installing my games day one and selling the disc copy on ebay the day after release.

yeah but it can be really scratched for that initial read, take for example, my friend bought a used dead rising, wouldn't work, borrowed mine to do his install, kept his shitty disc, voila works now

Pretty much all 360 games have a mandatory install unless you want a loud system that scratches your discs and fails to stream the textures on time.

There's exclusive DLC for the PS3 version, I forgot about that too, thank you for the reminder.
