Hackers must be Xbots.

Seriously, Sony's under siege. Also, I canceled my old card number and pulled a new one. Crisis averted? -

It was about month ago (or so) my friend told me about an email from sony about changes to his everquest account. He hadnt subscribed or logged in for a few years. He called them and they were of no help. The news today, combined with my friends info, it had to be at least a month ago that they actualy got the data on the soe/everqeust side. I'm sure others in the sony mmo world will see changes on their accounts if their email address is still active.

I get one everyday from Blizzard about Warcraft even though I havent Played for years. It turns out to be fake and they want you to click on the link to steal my info. They have said billing on some, selling of accounts and one had the US Marshal Service mentioned. Your friends might have gotten a fake e-mail on his account.

My bank just called me and advised me to cancel and replace my credit card. I had initially decided to simply set an e-mail alert on all charges and I was monitoring my account closely but it seems they 're strongly suggesting to all their clients who 've had dealings wth Sony to replace their credit cards.
It's a bit of a hassle but after the second Sony breach I think it's probably a good idea. -

I'm thinking about switching over to 360 for multiplat games. This entire debacle is leaving a bad taste in my mouth.
