Limbo was the only 360 game released this year that I wanted. So I don't see the need for a 360.
But IGN did get it wrong I think this year should have been a win for the PC, civ 5 and starcraft 2, + major wow expansion, and majority of the console games.
*edit
We also have to wait for IGN AU because they are the definitive source to what system won this year!Waiting for the day when sales or graphics or reviews matter again. -

IGN does suck these days, but they can still be right. IMO this time they are right.
Your loss. 360 was worth it this year for Mass Effect 2 alone. Anyone who doesn't like Mass Effect 2 is certifiably a crazy person, and this is a scientific fact. And after Mass Effect 2 (GOTY), it also had the far better version of RDR (also GOTY apparently), plus Reach, plus seriously the superior version of every MP (unlike last year) except FF XIII.
The article is CONSOLE showdown, not SYSTEM showdown. It's 360 vs PS3 vs Wii.But IGN did get it wrong I think this year should have been a win for the PC, civ 5 and starcraft 2, + major wow expansion, and majority of the console games.Receiver: Denon 3808CI / Remote: Logitech Harmony 1

I would probably agree with the 360 edging this year if I liked Mass Effect & Halo but I don't (my copy of Mass Effect 2 is still sitting unopened on my shelf after I abandoned ME1 due to boredom).
