Default Watchmen: Director's Cut screenings and BD-Live Event

Never seen the movie but for those who are fans, some theaters are having screenings of the directors cut.

One's happening here in NYC

I hope on the blu release that they include both versions. There are times when watching the directors cut would suck. Just like the LOTR Trilogy. At times, I just didn't have enought time to watch the extended cut.

I don't think you have a choice on the BD Directors Cut. The theatrical cut is on the digital copy tho.

Can't wait for next Tuesday.

I'll never watch the theatrical cuts of the LOTR Trilogy again. I feel the same about The Abyss and Aliens. I won't know if I'll feeel the same about Watchman until I see the DC. I usually prefer the extended/directors cuts.

I do wish they would have included the theatrical cut of Payback on it's HD release. Mainly because it is such a drastic change they are like two different films and I like each.

100% Agreed. I would rather not see those movies at all, if all I could do is watch the Theatrical.

I agree about Payback, took the whole gun wrenching torture event out of the end.

Trying to sign up for this even, not showing anything on the BD-Live menu other than trailers. Anyone else gotten it to work? I signed up from my PC, then logged in from the BD, everything but trailers is empty. Am I just too early? It's 2am on release date EST.

Edit: Figured it out, you have to go to a special page to RSVP then login to BD-Live on the day of the even. Took me a while to find the URL to sign up.
