Ehh...some parts of Goblet made me cringe...especially Dumbledore, though he did a much better job in Order. At least in Order they brought a lot of little things absent from the series, the little things from the book that weren't hard to put in and didn't detract from making a movie (more screen time, etc). Tonks tripping like 6 times, Hermione being afraid to say the name Voldemort...when in movie 2 she says it no problem.

Its been a while since I have read Half Blood Prince so I cannot remember this clearly. I saw a HBP special on HBO last night and in it they show the Death Eaters attacking the Burrow (Weasley's home). Did this happen in the book and I just don't remember it or did they put that in?

    It was added for pacing.

Reviews on RT are up to 40:1, 98%. This is ridiculous, I never expected it to be rated this high. Tomorrow night can't come soon enough.

Its ridiculous, so far this is moving past my expectations and they were very high for this movie.

This book gave them the most material to work with so far, and they haven't disappointed.

The main thing I love about this is the fact that this director will be finishing the series with DH1 and DH2. For a series that has had trouble finding a consistent director, this is a great thing, it will only increase the odds that DH will be terrific.

These details are nice I guess but I'm not a big enough fan to notice them or to be bothered by their absence. I thought Order of the Phoenix was good but nothing special and I caught myself looking at my watch repeatedly. To be fair to the film's creators the fifth book they had to work with had a lot of filler material.

As for the first two films were clearly inferior to the rest of the series, no question there. Chris Columbus was not a good choice at all.

This does happen in the books, but not till book 7. I think they decided to rearrange things since book 7 is already going to be 2 movies. Actually this happening sets a lot into motion in the 7th book, so it's a little odd that they're having it happen in movie 6... Unless they're some how going to make movie 6 tell most of book 6, get you into book 7 then have a trillagy with one movie running into the next. That would be kind of interesting really.

No...the scene is completely new. It was added for pacing. The thing you're talking about in book 7 will still happen, at least I don't think they would cut it because several important things happen during it.

I really wanted to see this at a midnight showing, but I can't bring myself to put up with all the kids who are out of school.

I'm really looking forward to this tomorrow!! only 24 more hrs. Have my ticket for 3:30 tomorrow in the Cine Capri here in Tempe Az.
People assume that time is a strict progression of cause to effect, but actually from a non-linear, non-subjective viewpoint. It's more like a big ball of wibbly wobbly... timey wimey... stuff.

    AWESSSSSSSSOME

Local Regal sold out 12 screens and opened up 3:15 slots.

Best of the 6 by far and an amazing movie on its own.
