New Superman - Who would you cast as Superman?

Since they want a darker Superman, who would you cast? Call me crazy but I think Michael C. Hall would be good. He is great as Dexter, and could bring that kind of character to Superman. Thoughts?

Ben Affleck has the physique for the part. He's tall, he's got the chin. What more could you ask for? I can't even think of anyone else.

Affleck just has no onscreen presence imo, I would not call him a bad actor just not a very talented one..

Superman needs someone who is endearing and actually makes you care whether he lives or dies.. I have no clue who I would pick, I just hope its someone good..

Plus he was already Daredevil. Do we really need him as another comic book character?

no, Ben Affleck already was SUPERMAN. Hollywoodland, he portrayed George Reeve, and was in the Supes outfit in it. he DOES have the physique for it, but sadly, he lacks the charisma/attitude

Daredevil really wasn't a memorable performance for Ben. Also, he portrayed as George Reeves in Hollywoodland, and I thought he did a good job with the role.

Now, I'm not saying he did an incredible job, but I think he just looks like Superman should, and that he could do as good job as anyone with the character.
