This movie had so much potential but was a major dissapointment when I saw it last year. Lets face it, the only good thing from it was Megan Fox

No offense, but this could go in the review thread or the film forum, no need to make a thread about just this, although I'm sure many will agree with you in your thoughts.

I thought the movie was mediocre at best.

While i agree the movie was not the best.

The trasorming IMO was awsome and was easily the best thing in the movie and well worth watching it for.

The biggest problem with the movie is it concentrated to much on the humans rather than the transformers which was a big mistake.

I really hope after the 2nd movie they do a prequel where they show the war on the transformers home planet between the autobots and decepticons

It was only 'amazing' when it was an HD-DVD exclusive. Now that it's coming to Blu it's magically become a steaming load of crap.

I put it to you that it was always a steaming load of crap.

To all that hated this move, were any of you into the G1 cartoons from the early 80's? I grew up loving transformers (I still have a boatload of my toys) and loved this movie. I think your enjoyment depends on expectations. Again, this is a movie based on toys from the 80's. I loved the move and I have high hopes for the next installment.

I liked the movie and it didn't matter to me if is was BD or HD. It was entertaining and that is what movies are supposed to do ''entertain'' if you thought it was going to change your life then sorry you didn't like it.

oh and I have to say that I loved the flick when it first came out and just was highly entertained though after a few viewings I have found it is a pretty bad flick but it is still pretty fun. I have it on hd dvd but have been watching it on hbo hd once an awhile. It doesnt hold up very well

Your not the only one...but I absolutely love this flick. Found it halarious at times and action passed on the other. Plus it looks hella good in HD.
