Default Death Race bombed!

After they pretty much show you the whole flick (in the trailer), including important plot points, it deserves to flop.

Jason Statham seems to "crank" out a steady flow of material, none of it has been spectacular as of late.

I'll rent it.

The other flick that's on my radar, is Rightous Kill, and even that movie gives up a major plot point. The only reason I'm still seeing it is, because of Robert Dinero and Al Pacino actually working side by side.

I had a bad feeling this would happen. I will still pick up the blu I'm sure. No theatre viewing though.

Watch the Transporter Series. That's honestly the best stuff he's done outside Guy Richie's Lock Stock and Snatch.

Gee....I wonder why.

Sometimes, somedays, you just have to give Johnny Public SOME credit. I say kudos for the all the non-idiots that avoided this movie.

Statham needs to stick to movies like Snatch. Im surprised he even has any movies in theatres now.

Id like to think if Nathan Hale and Marcus Phoenix ever met they would go grab a nice cold beer and talk about how to get blood stains out of there clothes

Couldnt agree more. Although I enjoyed Bank Job as well. Still not near as good as either of those.

Was there ever any doubt?

You can imagine the studio meeting now.

Hey I know.......lets take a not particularly good 1975 B movie.....lets remove the one thing about it that its fans thought was interesting (scoring extra points for killing civilians)....lets give it to probably the crappest hack in Hollyweird (who credits include D.O.A. , Aliens vs Predator (with which he managed to kill two franchises at the same time), Soldier and Event Horizon)......How can we possibly fail.

This guy really should be renamed Paul W.T.F. Anderson
