Default Tropic Thunder

I seen this yesterday and it was amazing, I didnt know what to expect going in as its from the ecclectic mind of Ben Stiller which can sometimes err on the side of unfunny while trying to be too funny.. From opening credits to the end this movie I was laughing out loud, and I can already see this being bigger on DVD then it will be in theaters.. Its going to be a movie that you can watch over and over again and get new quotes each time as there is a lot of subtleties in this film.. I give it a 4/5 and reccomend anyone who enjoys a GOOD comedy to go see this.. The cameo's alone are worth it..

I do have to say Robert Downey Jr is just spectacular in this film, he steals the show and for me is what made this movie soo damn enjoyable.. an ode to Mr. Downey Jr

Im going to see it this weekend. I figure I would give TDK a break from my constant drooling while watching it. I cant wait to see Downey in it though, hes one of my favorite actors.

Id like to think if Nathan Hale and Marcus Phoenix ever met they would go grab a nice cold beer and talk about how to get blood stains out of there clothes

I was going to wait until the BD hit, but my GF really wants to see it badly, so we compromised. I see Tropic Thunder with her, and she sees Mirrors with me.

Yeah...Stiller is getting a bit meh for me as well. But Downey and this movie more than makes up for it. Glad to hear that the movie looks is a blast. Cant wait to check it out.

You guys don't understand, RDJ killed it. He is so good in this movie it's hard to believe. The first 8 minutes of the movie is priceless. You'll know when you see it

Cheez I'm with you on Mirrors, gonna check out the midnight showing tomorrow.

There is some controversey surrounding the movie because it apparently makes fun of the mentally hanidcapped quite a bit.Hopefully that means it will do really well

They did but it was not directed at them(mentally challenged) and it was done quite hilariously by the way..

I just got back from seeing it, and it was effing hilarious! Seriously, it was the best comedy I have seen in years. THAT good. You and your buddies are going to be reciting lines from the movie for years to come, as I do with my friends in great movies, (i.e. The Big Lebowski).

I'm quite excited for this movie. I think Stiller is cool, and he does a good job writing and directing comedy. This should be way over-the-top, and that's cool with me.

Hopefully.

I love over the top comedy...a lot. Nothing pisses me off more then a comedy that is marketed as over the top, but ends up being a "safe/cliche" picture.
