    Lockout

Almost a good movie. And only reason it was almost good was Guy Pierce. Wish I had went to see Cabin in the Woods instead. Guy Pierce was great (but he always is), Maggie Grace was decent, much better than how annoying she was in Taken. The bad guys were pretty horrible. The subplot was silly and the action should of been better. I expect better action from the Luc Besson produced action flicks. But got to support any movie that gives Guy Pierce a starring role.

The Cabin in the Woods - Really enjoyed this movie. There's so much more to it than what they show in the trailer. Had planned on seeing Lockout (because, like thejnc, I'm a Guy Pierce fan) but decided on Cabin at the last moment.

They showed a trailer for Looper, it looks pretty interesting too.

Could be just an appreciation for the visuals than the story.

Horrible Bosses off of HBOGo. Decent flick. The bosses were pretty hilarious with out that much screen time. And the 3 leads had good chemistry together. Wouldn't buy it, but worth seeing. I thought going in that Charlie Day would be the standout of the 3 leads. Ended up being the least interesting of the 3 IMO. Just seemed like a more toned down version of his character from Always Sunny but a little smarter and got to cuss more. Thought Jason Sudikas was hilarious and Bateman is always reliable.

I watched that a couple nights ago for the first time as well, felt relatively the same in terms of film's quality. Jamie Foxx was pretty funny for the brief moments he was in it.

He was funny, but should of been funnier. Colin Farrel was a riot as was Jennifer Anniston, they just didn't have enough screen time. They gave most of the boss time to Spacey, who was good, but the least funny of the 3 bosses.

Agreed. Colin Farrell especially was lacking in screen time.

I don't usually find Jennifer Aniston that attractive, but she looked quite good in Horrible Bosses. I think the hair worked wonders.

Watched the Criterion Godzilla, and finally made it to the end without falling asleep (had nothing to do with the movie). Awesome flick, and highly recommended.

I thought the same thing. I never got the appeal of her. But she was actually slutty hot and had a filthy mouth. It worked wonders.

Last 2 Bateman flicks I've seen now have been lacking. This and that flick he switched bodies with Ryan Reynolds I thought would be funnier.

Last night I watched Real Time with Bill Maher and his stand up from a couple years ago. Haven't seen his show in a couple years. Thank you HBOGo.

Saw 'The Avengers' last night. It's crazy filled with action. They do a good job fitting everyone in. I thought that there were too many cheesy action-movie one-liners and one too many wink-wink nudge-nudge parts dedicated to hardcore fanboys. Everyone is saying it's the best superhero movie, but I still liked 'Dark Knight' better (though it could be argued that movie isn't really a "superhero" movie). But, this one really is loads of fun. I'd give it a solid 4 of 5 stars.
