Saw this last night too! Great movie, this is what movies are supposed to be like. The opening credits alone are better than most movies I have seen this year.

After the early showing of "Sherlock Holmes: A Game of Shadows" yesterday afternoon, I popped in the first thing I had sitting in my "neglected, need-to-watch" pile and ended up burning through the entire first season of "Louie" on BD last night.

Sweet bag o' dicks, where has that show been all my life? Amazingly, crudely, funny and yet unexpectedly poignant at the same time.

The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo: Extended Edition (Swedish version)

I just read the book in about a day and a half during my moms surgery, in the hospital. I haven't been that engrossed in a book in years. Having said that, I was very disappointed in the film version. While it was a very decent film in its own right, it changed way to many things, cheapened all of the characters, and made to many mistakes for me, having the book so fresh in my mind. I'd go in depth into what they changed if anyone cares to discuss it more in depth with me.

The Adventures of Tintin (The Secret of the Unicorn...)

I really enjoyed it but I was out of it during the movie and wasn't really paying full attention for a good 5-10 minutes. Still, it was a good ol' fashioned adventure which doesn't take a break as story and character development take a back seat, nonetheless, I greatly enjoyed the performances and the long take chase scene was awesome! Fun movie. Too bad it's not doing great in the States.

I will be catching up on the Holiday movies AFTER the new year. I tried going to the theater today and had to walk out. It's just too packed for my taste.

I was going to see Tin Tin and Girl with the Dragon Tattoo.

Yeah I got there 10 minutes early for Tintin and it was sold out along with the other family movies (Alvin and We Bought a Zoo), so I had to wait for the next showing which was also full...

Hopefully seeing Dragon Tattoo on Thursday

Saw the new Mission Impossible and Sherlock Holmes movies over the weekend. Both were pretty entertaining and I'll be picking both up on blu.

Saw David Finchers: The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo.

Absolutley perfect in every way. That was one of the most accurate adaptations I've ever seen. And my god, Rooney Mara became Lisbeth. That was method acting. It was like seeing the character come out of the book, living and breathing.

Id write more, but I'm in the car. Just know that it out does the Swedish version in every way.

Green Lantern. Mostly bad, but a kind of bad that I liked well enough that I hope they do another. Blake Lively helps out too.
