I'm tempted to go see this film. I like when anger entertains me.

I'm currently in an irritated/frustrated state and am hoping this will calm me down.

    I hope it doesn't backfire.

It is on pace to make 60 mill this weekend. Not too shabby

Going to see this in an hour and a half, so we'll see how this goes. I want to laugh very hard throughout this movie. I want to be entertained by the badness of this movie, but apparently it's not like....uber bad.

Wait a minute, you'd pay to sit through this twice? I just came back from it and thought it blew pretty hard. I mean, I was mildly entertained but I also found myself laughing at how awful some of it was.

The summer movies to me were just so terrible. I found it to be entertaining enough to justify giving it another go. Definitely am not saying it was a great movie. It's just exactly the type of film that i expected when going to see transformers 2. I wanted a check your brain at the door flick and gi joe delivered. I was very disappointed though overall by transformers 2 and felt gi joe gave me what i wanted. I also like you did find it laughable at times as well. it was bad in a good way to me.

Yeah I didn't like it. I guess I wouldn't say it's absolutely terrible, just because it's got some nifty action sequences (there's fifty bajillion of them), but everything else is pretty much mediocre to laughable. The CGI was pretty bad, almost Wolverine level, and I found that Channing Tatum is a pretty mediocre actor who tends to mumble his words. He seems so softspoken at times.

It was of course very cheesy, which you come to expect from any movie based on a toy line. What was with the flashbacks though? C'mon, it got excessive and it was lame the way they were presented. Anyways, I like Dennis Quaid, so he was awesome as General Hawk. Why? No idea. Just because he's Dennis Quaid. Snake Eyes was also pretty cool. Every one else was pretty meh. Marlon Wayons wasn't really funny but he got a few cheap laughs. Sienna Miller and Rachel Nichols were both hot though! That kid from Angels in the Outfield as Cobra Commander was just stupid. Joseph Gordon Levitt, you did 500 Days of Summer, and then you do this. Shame on you. Ok I don't blame him for his acting job, but Cobra Commander was simply stupid in this movie.

The movie seemed very violent for a PG-13 movie, LOTS of people die. I can imagine a lot of people enjoying it. 4/10

It is entertaining and I went in with no expecations so maybe thats why I enjoyed it, its basically a decent popcorn flick with a mediocre story.

I just want to throw it out there that Snake eyes is bad ass..

Oh yeah, should have had a PSA at the end of the movie instead of those darn Black Eyed Peas and their "Boom Boom Pow" (an incredibly fitting song for the movie though, I'll admit)
