Have not seen Erin, Informant or Contagion. I agree with the the other ones.

I just saw The Girlfriend Experience and really dug it.

I've gone back and re-watched Erin Brockovich a couple times and here's the take away: It's a boring story, or by all rights it should be. Cancer and hexavalent chromium and ground water. These are not the topics of compelling films, but the bulk of exposition that Soderbergh delivers is staggering. 90% of of the film is exposition and when I turn it on, I can't seem to pull myself away from it, because each scene draws you into the next. It's a marvel.

That being said, IMO, his best film is Out of Sight. Traffic is a razor-thin close second.

About to look at the list. All I can say is if The Limey isn't #1, it's not a very good list.

As I slowly scrolled down the list, I was disappointed to see King of the Hill wasn't # 1. That it didn't even crack the top 10 is a travesty. Just my 2 cents.

Traffic was a horrible movie and it's rated as #1? I had a hard time staying conscious I thought it was that bad. Seriously, little snippets from random, ordinary people's lives and how they somehow came together at the end. BLEUCH

And telling me to take theater classes won't fix my opinion of this crap.

Traffic is not anywhere close to being a horrible movie.

    Default Did i miss something?!

How has Schizopolis not been mentioned?! Not in the article or subsequent comments! This is easily one of his top 5. Also, I really enjoyed Full Frontal, Oceans 12 and The Underneath.

Aaron just FYI, Tarkovsky's original Solaris was released in 1972, not 76.

The Good German would make my list before Out Of Sight or The Informant. At least Traffic made number one.
