It's not as good as the films on the list, but I always kind of liked Real Genius.
Great call on Bill & Ted - I loved that movie. It's one of those that I almost don't want to see again because I want to remember how much I liked it back when it came out.Epson 8700UB

Yeah, 'Sixteen Candles' belongs on the list. But I also love 'Real Genius,' 'Just One of the Guys,' 'One Crazy Summer,' 'Can't Buy Me Love,' 'Revenge of the Nerds,' 'Porky's,' '3 O'Clock High,' 'Heathers,' 'Summer School,' 'License to Drive,' 'Some Kind of Wonderful,' 'Adventures in Babysitting,' 'Losin' It,' 'Footloose,' and without a doubt, should never be forgotten, 'Valley Girl.'
I love my 80s flicks. I grew up watching every single one of those repeatedly thanks to my local video store. I think I really would have had a hard time picking between any of them for a short list, so kudos to Aaron. Awesome list.
P.S. btw, the "Me decade" is the 70s, not the 80s. just FYI.M. Enois Duarte

Movies are so rarely great art that if we cannot appreciate great trash.
we have very little reason to be interested in them.

Wrestled with putting 'Heathers' and 'Sixteen Candles' on there. If I lengthened the list to 10 they would've made it.

A very good list except I'd replace Ferris Buhler with 16 Candles.
I always thought Ferris was ridiculously overrated. -
