Sorry, dude. I've never been much of a much Superman fan. Again, cartoony villains. Can't take 'em seriously. Don't find them intimidating. Zod isn't bad, but the other two bug the hell out of me.
I *should* mention that I've never seen the Donner Cut. Maybe that will change my mind. -

The original Batman is pretty cartoony overall. Not just the villains. It's not this grim film. It was darker than the West films, but it still had a level of "humor" to it. To me, the worst part out of the original Batman is not the villains - which I think work for what the films did - but the soundtrack. Returns is the best out of the Burton Universe Batmans, because it didn't have anything holding it back like a bad soundtrack.
I do think it's a terrible thing that comic films are now Nolanized. They can't be fun without being deem inferior by cinemagoers. It's kind of a lame time we live in. I sort of wished The Dark Knight wasn't so successful. It probably wouldn't have cemented the need for "serious Comic films."
Don't get me wrong, I love the Dark Knight. But, I don't like what it did to the "comic movie." -

Almost seems like your list is backwards

honestly though no love for Watchmen? I very much enjoyed that movie, not exactly sure why all the hate against it.
As much as i like Scott Pilgrim and Kick-Ass i would rather see Incredible Hulk in the top 10 instead. (especially since movies like Kick-Ass completely changed its ending for the Happy Hollywood Ending and took the plot of being real life back into being a comic book super hero with the jet pack)
Dark Knight is a bit edgy as the Number 1, it's hard to tell why so many people enjoy the film. Honestly it took me 5 times of watching it to finally enjoy it. The first time i saw it in Theaters i could not go past Christian Bale's voice
, it's still a bit sickening but once you block it out you notice that everyone else made the film what it is.

I agree totally. I think that the trend won't hold though.Thor has some nice comic bits and i'm sure GL will as well.
Avengers will definitely have some light moments when you bring characters like Thor and Iron Man together.
I watched Dark Knight once and really have had no desire to do a second viewing.
