One person and the only one I could think of...Jared Leto.

He's already got the look down. All he needs to do is channel his Requiem for a Dream persona, and he's there.

Sting would be awesome, but I like old Sting not the new Sting.

Tim Burton should steal it and make Johnny Depp the next Crow.

Except it would doom the project to feature his lame music.

Well they can make that part of his contract.

Line 1. Clause A. Twonunpackmule stipulation regarding usage of 30 Seconds to Mars in the Crow, shall be forbidden unless there is a lack of available songs to use.

What I was thinking when I read that.

It's not that I hate Bradley Cooper. I actually rather like that guy after The A-Team, I just think a reboot/remake/what ever you want to call it is dumb ass. Just do a sequel with a different character...or call it a reboot and just don't have the main guy be Eric Draven. And Cooper did a good job the The Midnight Meat Train not playing the smug ass. So I think he is capable, just don't want to see it at all.

And on a Crow side note. My Japanese version of The Crow blu came in today. So I will be watching that tonight. Hell to the YEAH!

Well he's done other movies and didn't have his music in the movies so I think it's an unfounded concern.

It was also before his band took off. Secondly, The Crow is a very "music driven" series. The sales for the soundtrack on the first one certainly outweigh the ticket sales.

Oh I know, I have the soundtrack, and it was awesome. Lot's of great tunes. I just don't think because he's cast as an actor that he automatically can assume that means a song of his gets put in it. Especially given how major the first films soundtrack was - it was well thought out and wasn't just a cobbled together piece of shit like many of them are.

So instead of asking who should play the next Crow, I ask this, whose music should be in it of todays bands. I would say Five Finger Death Punch and Otep.

And I watched The Crow on blu last night. Such a damn good film. And to all that say Eric was not a martial arts guy in the comics, rewatch the original. There is hardly any kung fu stuff in it. Maybe a couple times during the fight scene where he takes on the large group near the end. But it was not a kung fu flick.

And I really want to see Showdown in Little Tokyo on a blu now. The chemistry between Dolph and Brandon Lee was awesome.
