Default Suggestion: Polls within Reviews

This is just a suggestion and I have no idea how it would be done...but maybe at the end of the reviews, there can be a "See it" or "Pass" poll in order to get a better measure on HDD readers' opinions of the movies reviewed. Just something simple though...with 2 or 3 options at most.

just a thought.

I think a suggestion has come up in the past where the members can rank it with the star system the reviewers use. It would be hard to upkeep and could cause more problems.

However, your idea might be more reasonable. I think it could be a good addition when Mike, Landy or whoever else post the threads, here in the forums, that a poll could be inserted in the top with the options of good or bad.

The only issue would be clarifying whether this is based on the movie alone or the Blu-ray (factoring in PQ, AQ, and Extras).

funny you should mention this, nate #2.

'Observe and Report' - High-Def Digest Review

the observe and report review thread now has a poll, asking for reader opinion on the film itself (not the blu-ray qualities like audio/video, extras, or their thoughts on the reviewer/review). i hope that this gets some readers involved and voting, as it takes only two clicks to let your thoughts be known on that film that seems to be polarizing a large majority of posters.

keep it civil, folks, is all we ask

just a thought.
If you want a user rating system why not allow user's a score out of 10 (5 stars with 1/2 stars) like the reviewers? Then have a users rating on the disc link. 2-3 options is not enough, What if you think it is a 5.5/10 for example.

Personally I like the current format but user ratings would be okay in addition.
