Default HDD accessing browser history?

I recently went to Jimmy Johns website to apply for a job for when I move back to school and ever since then Ive been getting Order Jimmy Johns ad banners when I come to the boards. This doesnt really bother me and it could just be a coincidence but i was wondering if somehow HDD has it to view your history and the ads come up based on that? I know adds come up that are related to thread topics all the time but this is the first time ive ever seen it relate to my history....

Like i said it could just be a coincidence and it doesnt really bother me, im just curious.

That would be called hacking and invasion of privacy. That's a big no no, a no no I don't think HDD is capable of.

Well, I get Jimmy Johns ads too. And I enjoy eating there. But I think in this case, it would be a coincidence. Although the page you load up might prompt some specific ads.

The ads here definitely use some sort of tracking cookie.

I don't consider it a big deal since its not displaying what I look at to everyone else, just catering the ads to things I am already interested in...
