the problem is that we could end up with 30 more of these ugly ass boxes plastered on every forum within a year if no-one cares.

this^ I don't mind the advertising that supports the site, but these pop ups and the spam within the sub forum boxes looks tacky and detracts from the site.

btw-I personally will not want to do business with a company who's advertising I find highly annoying, do companies/sites not get this?

Are your referring to the logo on the main forum page? I have not been seeing popups or anything from inet or others.

Because with the sponsors goes the site. Unless everyone was willing to pay a steep yearly membership fee to keep the site alive. Any takers?

ok, i'm not involved in this sort of thing, but some people are looking at things too damn blindly.

did no one notice the inetvideo contest/giveaway when their banner was up?

did no one notice the deepdiscount giveaway, and they had the banner that replaced the inet one?

could there not be more to the story here, folks? is that just amazing cosmic coincidence?

it don't affect me none, but it could give a user free blu-rays and whatnot if they win. remember how long it had been since this site had a contest before the Office giveaway sparked things back up?

can't always have it both ways. i'm not saying i know of any deal or arrangement, as, again, i'm not involved, but really, overblown situation, which came with a great additional sich, be it coincidence or no.

or we could all just be negative Nancies all the god damn time.
