The Mysterious Case of the Missing Posts....

Am I going insane or did I drink too much tonight? It seems like posts have been disappearing over the past day or two.

I know for a fact that I posted in The Incredible Hulk thread the other day and my post is now gone.... it was on topic, wasn't offensive (at least I fail to see how it could be interpreted as such) and overall decent so I don't think it was deleted by a mod..... also, Geonosis posted specs/extras for The Incredible Hulk (it's what my now missing post commented on) and it too is now gone.

I've noticed this happening in other threads too so it doesn't seem to be isolated to just The Incredible Hulk....

Has anyone else noticed this or am I just blind and crazy?

Is there an issue going on that I am unaware of? Am I really just gong insane?

The particular posts from the Hulk were not deleted. There seems to be no record of them. I'm guessing we're having some sort of database issues or something. We'll look into it.

i haven't seen any issues of this, but this does sound like database

what forum did you create it in? If it was hard deleted by an admin or super mod, the only way to find it is in the admin logs. I'll take a look if you help point me in the right direction.

Well my disappearing hulk post was in here

Specifically on page 2 of that thread between posts 27 & 28... as you can see there is about a 5 hour gap between those two posts and that is where the missing entires would/should be....

Like I said this isn't isolated to that particular thread and I don't think this was a mod/super-mod issue either.... I noticed strange disappearances in a few threads (I just don't remember the who, what and where).

I know what happened, I moved the three posts including my own, to another topic to merge the two Hulk threads. A few people got OT about Universal in general so I moved that. Your post is now reflected in the one main thread about Hulk. Hopefully this solves this case but I have no ideas about the other ones
