Default Automatic Multi-Quote

Why not add Automatic Multi-Quote to the forum? I have seen it in other forums (here is one example but only the forum application, Invision Power Board, is in English). If you quote several posts and your posts do not have any other users posts between them, the posts is added together.

This would save space and time for everybody.

Indeed and this button even if there are posts between the ones you are quoting. I believe it even carries over multiple pages .......

Yes but how many times have it not happen that a user starts to quote a post early in a thread, read some more make a new quote and maybe a third and at the end of the thread you have two, three or even more posts by the same user.

It would be nice if these posts were added together in one post.

This is one quote of your post by me. If I continued to post in this thread the result would be the following (see next post).

Posts by the same user after each other could be joined together. It actually does not matter if it is a quote or not in the post but I have seen this happen with quoted posts at mosts time. Why see the same avatar and signature over and over again?

All my four latests posts in this thread could have been on in one. This would make it easier to read.

Yeah he's just talking about how some forums have that feature that automatically merges multiple posts by a user

Not really sure that's a huge problem here is it?

I see it on occasion in the game forums, and it's not really that difficult to read through.

In fact, it is sometimes helpful because someone is addressing one issue, or one person's argument, and then shifting gears to something totally else. Taking two posts to do that is fine

Ahh, I totally understand now. I'm not sure if there is a mod out there for this, but I'll look as soon as I get a second.
