Dark Knight Avatar Overkill
I just need a place to discuss this. I dont mind avatars. As you can see I dont use one so it should be obvious I can deal without them too.
But, really, does everyone need to modify there avatar to reflect aspects of the Joker's makeup in The Dark Knight???  I LOVED The Dark Knight, don't get me wrong. I feel like I'm in a Twilight Zone episode or something. Every post I go to read is covered with Dark Knight references. It's like in a scary scene when someone is sweating and glancing all around at something closing in on them, it's a bit overwhelming. I am not trying to be a wet blanket (although I'm sure I will be compared to such), but, oh heck, I am a wet blanket.  I just needed to talk/vent about this. Thoughts?

Like all fads, it'll pass. Ben1080p started a "why so serious" thread encouraging everyone to write over their avatar, so a lot of us jumped on board. I'm sure once The Dark Knight dies down a bit, you'll slowly start to see them fade. Now quit being such a wet blanket!

It's damaging my psyche...I constantly have this urge to make my smile wider and then tell people multiple stories about how it happened all while trying to steal half the money from all the mobs in New York. Please...make it stop.

does anybody remember when that one guy started the celebrity mugshot avatar thread, he always had Robert Downey Jr's mugshot as his avatar, i know i had vanilla ice's for a while after he started that thread, but anyway who was that and why did he get banned? he was cool...

I played along with the DK avatar fad for all of 24 hours until I realized that, even in its infancy, it had already become way too widespread to be any fun.
