Default Can't access forums with IE

I have to use Firefox to access the forums. It started yesterday, whenever I try to use the forums with Internet Explorer I get a error popup that says "Internet Explorer can not open the site http://forums.highdefdigest.com/ Operation aborted" then when I click OK it takes to an error page.

Add "*.sitemeter.com" (without the "").

After that the little sitemeter icon in the right corner of the page footer is gone.
And so is the error message...
Happy Pappy?

Good question. At the time I posted the workaround that was the only thread where the problem was already mentioned.
