Post count problem

So I'm trying to post a picture of my dog in the pet thread but the site is still telling me that I need at least 10 posts first. My post count shows 4 but when I do a search on all my posts, it comes back with 12.
Is there an error in the counter or are there stipulations on posting multiple times in threads that don't count?

The water cooler does not count towards your post-count. It's an off-topic area where members can post whatever they feel like (like pictures of their dogs...)

Make a post in the thread that says something like "This is Pookie" (lol) and then PM me a URL for the image and I will edit the picture into the post.

I may not get to it until tomorrow morning, but I will get to it asap.

Wow, I didn't know that the WC didn't count. Then again I hardly ever visit it.

I think he meant that you go to the "Post a pic of your pet" forum to make that post.
