When posting from a mobile device
When posting from a mobile device, such as the iPhone, I am logged out after almost every post. And I understand that this is not a problem unique to the digest, because it happens on other sites as well.
Sometimes when you're typing a long response to a thread, only to find that you've been logged out, it can drive you crazy. Anyone else having this problem? Anyone know why? Last edited by JackHunt : 06-28-2008 at 12:52 PM.

I do not have this problem posting from my Nokia E90. Might be more Iphone-related.

I wonder if it is the packet data connection between the phone and the network that might perhaps be dropped in some situations if there's no traffic for some time...
I've not had this kind of a problem myself with the mobile phones I use in Japanese WCDMA networks. Currently I'm using N95.

That strange, I have the iPhone and it never does that. Is it happening both on the wireless and EDGE?

Do your weather settings save? Is your iPhone ummm..."special" like mine? If it is PM me and I'll help you out. If your iPhone is bone stock I can't help. Sorry.

I have a touch and it doesnt.
my Safari settings are: Javascript - ON Plug-Ins - ON Block Pop-Ups - ON Accept Cookies - Always umm...idk know whats wrong. Do you have remember me clicked?

I wonder why I'm the only one with the problem?
This is actually my second iPhone, the original I had since July 07 and had the same problem. Maybe it's my cookies settings? Anyway, thanks for the feedback everyone.

That's never happened to me with my iPhone.
Make sure, that when you're signing in, you check the 'remember me' box or else it will sign you out when you leave the site.
