It has something to do with the side ads. I'm using Firefox now and it works fine. The side ad doesn't load at all with IE. IE is SUPER slow.

I have to refresh 3-4 times before I can view a forum page and try at least twice before a post goes through

As am I, using IE7. It's beyond old and there's no reason for it to be acting up as it is doing.

Some tips

-Always copy your post/messages before submitting
-After copying hit submit, and if starts loading slow, hit it again, if it continues, hit it again. If it dups. messages, they'll get over it
-If it goes to the error page just hit back and paste your message you copied.

I've dealt with this problem so many times before, and in other places I've become a pro at dealing with it

EDIT: Do the same thing when clicking on links, minus the Copy/Paste thing. I've found by doing this I've got less errors

Definitely a big lag on the site. I can barely get the main page to load at work, and it's like pulling teeth at home. Hope this can get fixed soon..

What is it with this site and consistent issues??? I hate to sound negative towards this site, or impatient, but this site is plagued with issues it feels like.

i haven't had any issues, just a couple slow loads, but i reclick and it loads fine. i know some users have had issues, fearing double posting/double pm'ing, but haven't received any dupes.

How's this for broken... This is the 3rd time I'm trying to post this damn reply because of forum issues.... So i'm copying the text before posting and keeping it short...

There don't seem to be specific problems between here and there per trace route and ping, whatever is going on it's internal to the HDD servers....

Badger, I'm much agreed. Bugs here are getting VERY old...
