Default BD-UP5000 and Ratatouille playback problems

A friend of mine got one of the $349 BD-UP5000s I liberated from Circuit City. He said during a certain part of Ratatouille (not sure where) the video and audio get slow and stuttery for about 90 seconds, then plays normally. Has anyone else experienced this problem?

Firmware is the latest from Samsung- I updated it before I passed it on to him.

It is my Ratatouille BD he is playing, when I get it back I will try and duplicate, but perhaps some of you have experienced similar problems.

That was actually the first Blu disk I played on my machine and it played flawlessly for me. Maybe the disk is smudged? I used a rental disk.

You need to be more specific where because there should be no problem with RAT after the 1.3 update. Also you did not mention if he was able to duplicate the error himself. Also maybe clear out the memory. If you use online extras it can become full of online info, sometimes that can jam things up and cause odd playback issues. Good luck...It's the best player out there!
