Well, I guess it shouldn't come as a big shock that there isn't going to be a BH300. As long as LG continues to offer support for their current players for a while, I won't complain. My BH200 has been solid, apart from refusing to play "Clerks 2."

Ahh too bad! What are the chances of the BH200 being profile 2.0 compliant? It looks like if you want a combo you have to settle for profile 1.1.

Yeah not sure on that one... The slight upside is that there will be no BH300 so no reason not to update the BH200.

IMHO, LG should bump it up to 2.0 assist their customers. Samsung's name is mud in the market. LG had the best Blu-Ray standalone player on the market for March/April but got little praise for it. If people saw LG up this player to profile 2, they would be more inclined to buy from LG in the future.
