Give it a week or so. The BH200 list price has been drastically reduced.

Futureshop isn't losing any money on these.
The msrp in canada was 799.00 but dropped last week to 499.
I'd expect the US to catch up soon.

One more question. Will a firmware update enable True HD?

It will do TrueHD 2 Channel, not sure if it will ever do 5.1 or 7.1 decodes.

I read in the manual that the BH200 is profile 2.0 compatible via software updates. This really true?

Is there any evidence to that that's more 'concrete'?

My interest in a BH200 was already pretty good. But if it'll be 2.0 for sure, my interest just went through the roof.

I would wait until they make a formal announcement.
Since I purchased my unit at cost direct from LG, I based my purchase on my LG reps word that it will have a firmware upgrade to 2.0. (It does have an ethernet port and 1 gig storage). If it doesn't get the upgrade, it will be going back.
