Aww man I just went over my post. And your'e right, Sotie. I forgot people here would definitely get defensive by that kind of comment I made. But the HD-A30 and the HD-A35 I used to have have both done that before. Only the PS3 hasn't done that to me yet. Why dont you do that too and show me what the results are with a few movies. Hold it at pause for at least 3-5 minutes then start the movie again and see if the audio ever doesn't sync anymore until you turn off the whole machine and restart it again. Sorry about the comment. I know how people get defensive over their machines if they're pleased with it. So that's my fault.
Well, hate to say it, but Blu-Ray won. Still got love for HD-DVD though. They put up a good fight.

I currently have HD-A35 and Samsung 1400. Hasn't happened on either of mine and I frequently pause for a couple of minutes.

If your machine is playing a movie straight all the way through from a fresh start up, I say don't worry about it. With this duo machine right now I find that if you switch formats during the same watching period, depends on what discs also, you can have audio issues like the one you described. I'm sure all audio will be fixed once Samsung get's the new firmware out for it. So if you need to be changing movies while watching dvds for a long period of time, I would just reboot your machine between every movie. That way you are guaranteed no interruptions. Still with fingers crossed. Hoping to see something from Sammy soon.

BLU-RAYs, HD AUDIO, Flat Panels & 1080P...these are a few of my favorite things.

Yeah I did watch them back to back same watching period but that would be kind of ridiculous having to restart every time, wouldnt it? And they were all blu-rays. Con Air, The Rock, Close Encounters...... I only have like 25 HD-DVD's now. Anyway I hope to god this helps too.

I haven't had a problem with any blu's, only one issue with one HD-DVD where the sound started skipping a little.

Whoa whoa calling you out???? Someone is a little too stiff to take any jokes. It was a humorous remark for crying out loud! Did I call you names and threaten you? No cuz in my book, that's calling someone out. One thing I noticed about you is you take things a little too seriously when people post towards you. You've gotta lighten up man. I told you I had no hard feelings about my closed threads. This is all informative fun. Once you understand that yourself, this place will be as tranquil as the promiseland will be. Let's all sing in rejoice!

Well the problem is not exactly that I think. I dont have enough HD-DVD's that I haven't seen to try. I've seen all but one. I mean in the collection I have. I only have like 25 HD-DVD's now. I used to have over 50 but got rid of the warner ones and paramount ones I could get the old blu's for. The only one I haven't seen yet and is still sealed and is HD-DVD is "What Dreams May Come" and I plan on seeing that soon. Heard it was great on HD-DVD. Saw it a dozen times in SDVD. Was great. I love Robin Williams even though lotza people make fun of him on TV. Remember, I just happen to have over 100 blu-rays so I have more than enough that I haven't seen yet.
