Question about the LG BH200

I keep hearing that it only does TrueHD in 2 channel, and my questions are: 1)what does this even mean?, and 2) will they be releasing an update to change this at any time? Im just a little curious since my dad picked this one up for our home theater and I kinda want it to sound as good as it can. Thanks for any help.

That means that if there is a TrueHD track you will only get 2 channels of audio from your speakers. While this is not wanted ot desired it meets the Dolby TrueHD spec as only 2 channels are required to claim compatibility.

As far as updates go fro what I have seen LG claims they are "looking" into it, but I have heard from others places that it may never happen. You never know until the end though and the company states something one way or the other.

Thanks for replying. Sucks tho. Ill have my dad return it and get the A35 for HD and plug my bro's PS3 in for the blu-ray. Do you know if there are any better players than those two for their respective formats?
